The School of Engineering & Physics (SEP), comprises of 3 Divisions based on the focus areas; Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering and Physics.
There are a number of programmes run by the school to suit the needs of the region.
The Engineering Divisions provide training to suit the workforce needs of the region especially for the USP member countries. The students get 3-year training for the degree in Bachelor of Engineering Technology (BETech) in the discipline of their choice, either in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering. The students also have a choice to pursue engineering in Bachelor of Science (BSc).
The Physics Division offers BSc degree. The training focuses in the area of classical, environment or quantum Physics. Students have a choice to pursue their BSc degree in Physics as a Single Major, Double Major or Minor.
The School also offers graduate courses in many areas of specialization. This includes Postgraduate Diploma, Maters in Science (MSc) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in either Engineering Technology or Physics.
